Restart the computer in Safe mode with Networking

  1. Exit all programs.
  2. Press the windows +R keys to open the run dialog box.
  3. Type in the following text , and then press enter.

Msconfig:  If the user account control windows appear , click YES and continue.

  1. In the system configuration window, on the boot tab , select safe boot and network.
  2. Click on OK.
  3. When you are asked to restart the computer, click on RESTART button.

The computer restarts in safe mode with networking.

Run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool

Firstly, uninstall Norton Family If you have already installed and run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.

  1. Download the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.
  2. Save the file to the Windows desktop. On some browsers, the file is automatically saved to its default location.
  3. To open the Downloads window in your browser, press the Ctrl + J key.
  4. Double-click on the NRnR icon.
  5. Read the license agreement, and click Agree.
  6. Click on Advanced Options.
  7. Click on “Remove Only”
  8. Click on “Remove”.
  9. Click on “Restart Now”.
